Peter Wright Is Still The Most Electrifying Man In Darts, Comes Out Dressed As The Grinch
There's a difference between being a great athlete and being a legitimate superstar. A superstar is not only one of the greatest athletes on the planet, but also one of the greatest entertainers as well. You need to remember that professional sports are theater. And if there's one athlete on the planet who truly understands that concept, it's reigning PDC World Darts Champion Peter Wright.
I've blogged about him before, but now he's out here one-upping himself and continuing to lap the competition.
This isn't just any ordinary drunk at the bar showing up in a Grinch costume to toss some darts. This is a World Champion. This is someone who is quite literally the greatest dart throwing on planet Earth. He has the title to prove it, and he has the attitude to back it up. And when you show up looking like this, you better back it up.
Imagine if Michael Jordan showed up to game 1 of the Finals dressed like this. The audacity. The balls. And most importantly, the hammer dick to back it all up with a few brilliant rounds of darts to get the win.
